ITALIAN writing retreat

FIND YOUR FLOW in Italy

Do you need time away from everything to finish or start your memoir, screenplay, collection of poetry or novel? Then FIND YOUR FLOW writing retreat is the perfect destination. Getting away from the daily distractions of home life can be a productive choice to get those words on the page and find your creative flow.

Nestled in the foothills of Liguria on the edge of a village with breathtaking views over The Golf of Poets, FIND YOUR FLOW writing retreat will allow you to focus and have plentiful writing time in a relaxed cosy environment. Your host is a published writer and understands what you need to focus; writing time, space, routine, good food and time to let the mind wander.

The Golf of Poets in Italy has a history of great literature because of its beautiful landscape and warm people. It will transport you to another world where time slows down and time is on your side.

The property stands on the edge of Vezzano Ligure, a typical Ligurian working village, which offers the best of both worlds. There is life around yet also plenty of space given the villa’s location. With a clear panoramic view from the terrace you can watch the sun rise from behind the Carrara marble mountains to the east and set over the hills of La Spezia to the West. There is a sense of vastness as you sit on top of the world watching life across the valley buzz below you. The space here will really allow for you to focus.

FIND YOUR FLOW writing retreat can offer airport transfers from Pisa and Genova. Pisa is less than an hour and is under two hours from Gatwick. Easyjet fly daily, hearty home cooked meals, daily trips to the coast to run or swim in the sea & pool. There is a resident dog called Blue who will happily provide cuddles and be your companion to take hikes around the village if you need to get out of your head and let your mind wander. The village is an incredible citadel and has three adjoining parts which can provide amazing walks with views just as breathtaking at every turn.

There are Italian neighbours who have lived on the property for three generations and provide a real Italian experience, so you’ll also have a taste of genuine Italian life.
